Located 92.6kms south of the Kalbarri township. This small coastal town is a scenic family holiday spot with safe swimming, fishing, windsurfing & kiteboarding. South of Horrocks lies the Bowes River with good onshore fishing and surfing at the river mouth.
- It has been voted Australia's top mainland beach in 2017 & Australia's 2nd best beach in 2018.
- Horrocks is named after convict Joseph Horrocks, who was transported to western Australia in 1851 for forging and uttering.
Willi Gully Cave
Willi Gully Cave, Bowes Rd Horrocks
Travel on Bowes Rd for approx. 500m, reach a pull over bay on your right to park your vehicle. Walk through the gate to Willi Gully Cave and view an ancient Indigenous rock art created by the local Nanda people, describing their traditions, ideas and values.
